SOLANA RIDGE X-BASE TABLE
WINTER 2014/2015
Made from Reclaimed planks salvaged from a 100+ year old barn in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Authentic circular saw marks, worm holes and live edge of tree with remnants of bark exposed. Handcrafted mitered trestles and handcarved feet for the base joined with authentic old square nails. With a steel rod connecting the two trestles.
The angles have to be "just right." I guess all that math does come in handy.
Moving the base outside.
Moving the base. My version of "Working Out."
They're having WAY too much fun helping me. :-)
The Client requested a personal touch, so I engraved my initials and a penny from the year it was made in the underside of the tabletop. |
The 100+ year old barn (since torn down) in Iowa that the reclaimed lumber was harvested out of. |
Progress photo, before the steel rod and polyurethane finish was added. |
Delivered and all set up in its new home.

RUSTIC WEDDING
A collection of ideas I've gathered while browsing online getting inspiration for our best friends' wedding. I've had them in my phone for a while but decided to publish them here for easier access and to clear space off of my phone.
I don't take any credit or intend any copyright infringement on anything here. I am merely collecting ideas for inspirational purposes.
