WINTER 2014/2015
Made from Reclaimed planks salvaged from a 100+ year old barn in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Authentic circular saw marks, worm holes and live edge of tree with remnants of bark exposed. Handcrafted mitered trestles and handcarved feet for the base joined with authentic old square nails. With a steel rod connecting the two trestles.
The angles have to be "just right." I guess all that math does come in handy.
Moving the base outside.
Moving the base. My version of "Working Out."
They're having WAY too much fun helping me. :-)
The Client requested a personal touch, so I engraved my initials and a penny from the year it was made in the underside of the tabletop. |
